New Jersey Passive House's Blog

Hosted by the NAPHN

June 10th - 12 AM - 5:30 PM EST / June 11th - 9:30 AM - 15PM EST

"Passive House For All" is a call to action

Our existential environmental, health, and social crises demand that we look beyond isolated symptoms and tackle interlocking systemic causes; across disciplines, from buildings to communities. This event will take on the full range of specialized technical, process, and policy aspects of Passive House one expects from a NAPHN conference – and it will challenge us to make Passive House benefits, tools, and work, accessible to all, and enriched by everyone.

“Part of accessibility is affordability and with early registration the costs to participants are significantly reduced,” said NAPHN Executive Director, Ken Levenson. “With over a 50% reduction from the full price and then with additional discounts for NAPHN membership and a special rate for students, we want to broaden the impact of this event.”

In-Person and Online

This will be a hybrid conference – conducted in-person, in NYC, and through this online platform. You can participate where you are most comfortable. We will be able to operate safely in-person, at a reduced capacity. And you can network online, meet other participants, exchange contact information, and make future plans, with our enhanced networking capabilities.

Please note: In-person attendees will have online access, but as in-person spots are limited we ask that only those intending to join in-person register for in-person, and if your plans change, that you notify us ASAP to make your spot available to others.

10 AM - 4 PM EST / 7 AM - 1 PM PST

Join NAPHN and New Jersey Passive House for an Introduction to the Passive House Standard.

Passive House goals and methodology change the way architects and builders think and work, making the architectural design itself a driver of climate, health, and social solutions. This is a 6-hour course that dives into the basic principles, history, certification, and the new frontiers of Passive House design as it continues to challenge and change industry expectations. All theory is then illustrated through several case studies outlining specific Passive House principles.

Course has 6 HSW/LU AIA credits.

The cost is $195.

All participants will receive a webinar link via email.
